The Hudson River Gorge
provides an excellent opportunity for an exciting
and beautiful whitewater rafting experience through 16 miles of nearly
continuous class III-IV rapids. This full day trip combines wild river thrills
of Gooley steps, the Narrows, Giveny’s Rift and Bus Stop (to name a few) with
the awesome natural beauty of the Adirondacks.
You and your group will gaze upon spectacular canyon walls, mountains and
waterfalls and perhaps even sight a bald eagle or blue heron.
Ranked as one of the top 10 whitewater trips in
the U.S, the Hudson River Gorge is ideal for both experts and beginners.
Spring trips beginning in April are our “Big Water” trips.
Spring runoff and snow melt increase the size of the rapids and provide a
wild, thrilling ride.
Summer trips are more tame, but with a controlled dam release of water
are still guaranteed to offer Class III rapids.
Warm water, pleasant swims and sunshine are all additional perks of this
trip. Fall
rafting combines the whitewater experience with the incredible fall foliage that
the Adirondacks are famous for.
