All whitewater raft guides hold a current New York State Guide License that includes extensive water training, CPR, first aid, state compliance.
How much does a 17-mile rafting cost in Adirondack Wilderness?
Our full day trip costs $115 per person and includes your gear, guide, transportation to and from the river, a completely customized experience to your boat, and a full day of absolutely unforgettable thrills! You can't find a deal like this anywhere else.
Is this whitewater rafting trip family friendly?
Yes! We raft with everyone ages 7-99.

Can I swim during a rafting trip in the Hudson River Gorge?
Yes! There are 3 swimming spots throughout our trip, including one opportunity to jump off Elephant Rock into the river. This is the best way to cool off and immerse yourself in the Hudson River during hot summer days.

Do I need experience to go whitewater rafting?
No, that's where our professionally trained guides come in. We provide instruction for all of our guests so that you know what to expect, and what to do throughout your day on the Hudson River Gorge, while you can trust that your guide has everything planned out with your safety being their top priority.
What is the best time to go rafting in Indian Lake, New York?
Spring - Thrilling, big water with huge waves and the potential for Class V whitewater. Spring is for our adventure seekers! Minimum age of 16 in the spring.
Summer - Excellent rafting for all ages 7-99. Mostly Class III-IV whitewater with swimming, splashing and warm weather.
Fall - Similar water conditions to summer, but add the beautiful fall foliage!
How long is the rafting trip on the Hudson River Gorge?
17 miles! This trip usually lasts 5-5.5 hours during the summer season. Spring trips can be faster with higher water.
What should I wear to go rafting?
Summer - Bathing suit, t-shirt, shorts, old sneakers or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops or Crocs)

Spring & Fall: warm, non cotton socks, thin, non-cotton hat (to fit under helmet), non -cotton layers for under your wet-suit, windbreaker or rain jacket (preferably without a hood)

Cancellations or reservation alterations must be made 14 days prior to the date of reservations. Changes made to reservations, or no shows within 14 days of a trip are not subject to refunds of any kind. Please let us know of any alterations as soon as possible so that we can best accommodate.
